Brewlab

Brewlab is Hobart’s premier craft beer café and microbrewery, located in Derwent Park. It is a vibrant hub for Tasmania’s brewing community, acting as both a brewery incubator and a relaxed waterfront café. You can sample a wide range of locally brewed beers and enjoy great food in a comfortable and modern setting.

They have a fully equipped brewery onsite that allows both new and experienced brewers to experiment and create. For visitors, there is a menu of well matched burgers, deli style sandwiches, and sides made with local produce, along with excellent coffee. Brewlab also hosts events and private functions, with flexible spaces that include a grungy brewery room with a fairy light lit bar and an upstairs Craft Room overlooking Prince of Wales Bay. Their weekday happy hour from 3pm to 6pm features seven dollar schooners of house brews, making it a popular spot for post work drinks.
