About
Customs House Hotel sits right on Hobart’s waterfront in the heart of the maritime precinct, just a short stroll from the docks, the historic sandstone buildings of Salamanca Place, and the village of Battery Point. Its building dates back to 1846 making it one of Hobart’s oldest hotels. From many of the rooms you get waterfront or harbour precinct views, with ferries, yachts and the comings and goings of the harbour just outside.
Inside you will find a polished combination of heritage character and modern comfort. There is a bar and a full restaurant serving meals all week, from fresh seafood and steak to parmas, burgers, pasta plus vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
